My name is Pastor Mike Weber. I have been married to my wife, Sherry, for 45 years and we have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
For the past 40 years I have been a pastor in the Reformed Church of America serving 4 different churches in Cleveland, OH; Montrose, NY; Slate Hill, NY; and most recently, United Reformed Church of Clifton, in Clifton, NJ.
I like to think of myself as a creative writer, a story teller, a sermonizer, a singer/song writer, and occasional poet. Whether, I live up to my self-billing, I will let you be the judge.
If I were to characterize my life, it has been one filled with wonder – wonder at the goodness of God’s creation, wonder at God’s grace in my own life, and wonder at the life stories and experiences that I have been privileged to share with the people in my congregations.
In these pages I invite you to share my wonderment. I will be sharing thoughts, stories, prayers, sermons and poems that I have written over the years. My theme will be Psalm 27:7-9
Thou hast said, “Seek ye my face.”
My heart says to thee,
“Thy face, Lord, do I seek.
Hide not thy face from me.”
My hope is that together we will discover the face of God.
I look forward to reading you!
